12 New Tribes of Israel

12 wall length prints symbolizing a division of the current Israeli society to sub-groups, “The New Tribes”. 

The aim of the project is to get to know and bring each tribe together by creating formal arrays that contain symbols from different areas of life such as architecture, customs, culture and leisure. The visual inspiration is the stained glass found in synagogues containing the original 12 Tribes of Israel.
